Born and raised on the rainy shores of Vancouver,
trained under the bright lights of New York City.
I first fell in love with theatre in the Third Grade when I saw a local production of "Macbeth", kindling a passion for literature and language, and fueling a need to be on stage, too. From Shakespeare to Oscar Wilde, I've been lucky enough to be able to work on the classics that first drew me into acting, while also exploring contemporary works and exciting new media.
I've particularly carved a niche for myself playing quirky, sweet, genuine roles, characters who might be a little awkward or nerdy or neurotic,
who might be just a little bit . . . off.
You know, that nice gal down the street who accidentally ends up stalking her neighbour / crush because she doesn't know how to talk to him.
The loyal and long-suffering caretaker or devoted secretary or loving wife,
the friendly waitress or elementary school teacher,
who is, perhaps, harbouring a tragic past or hiding dark secrets.
That sort of thing.
In my free time, I enjoy cooking up a storm for extravagant dinner parties,
filling up my wardrobe with vintage clothes and hand-sewn costumes,
reading with a cozy cup of tea, and befriending all of the neighbourhood dogs.
And I make really, really good homemade ice cream.
